Kick your summer off right! Yesterday was the Summer Solstice and this is the first official weekend of summer– and this time, it starts with a doozy!
If you remember the send-off for Original Pizza early last year, you remember how much of a blast it was, how many familiar faces you saw, and that it all went to a good cause. This year, the same group as last is putting on another blowout event– this time, in the Newport Dunes. The event celebrate the official beginning of summer, starting at Noon at the Newport Dunes and lasting until 6pm, the proceeds from this event will go to a cause that everyone can get behind: Helping our injured military personnel and their families through the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation.
Local band favorites including the Side Deal, Swingin’ Tikis, Electric Cool-Aide and SuperDelux are headlining the event which will also have food trucks, drinks, and 50/50 raffles.
Parking is available on-site but you might want to grab a cab with some friends to make life easier. Admission is $50/head but kids under 16 get in free with a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.thereallybig.show
