Did you feel it? Earthquake 1 mile from Newport!

While not much on the official Richter scale, many people in Newport Beach got to experience HEARING a quake coming for the first time ever, before it bit.

Did you feel it? That 3.9 was a reading much, much less than it felt from here in Newport!

At 4:52:24pm today, an earthquake sent its waves through Newport Beach.

The quake was centered at 33.629N 117.908W, only 1 mile east-northeast from Newport.
