Did You Feel the 6.6 Earthquake?

Did you feel it?

At 10:33:48am today, an earthquake which immediately registered as a 6.6 sent its waves through Newport Beach.  The quake was centered at 35.705°N  117.508°W, about 7.5miles SW of Searles Valley, CA.  Yes, 156 miles from Newport sounds like a long way away, but that shaker definitely was felt by this author, up all the way down here on Balboa Peninsula!
