In the last few days we’ve had rain, thunderstorms, one heck of a 360-degree lightning show, 65mph winds, and a “red fire” warning lasting until 8 p.m. last night.
The rain was much needed.
The thunderstorms were soothing.
The lightning show was amazing.
But that Santa Ana wind. That was something else. The last time we had gusts like that, we lost the Wedge Tree!
This time around, damages ruined roofs, knocked over potted plants, sent several vessels off their docks and into the harbor, unattended, unseated weakened trees– and in this season– whipped all those political signs off their lawns and fenceposts and into the streets.
What damage did you have? Did you have a political sign that was taken (we can replace it, if it’s ours!). Or did you make a clean escape? 🙂
Here, we lost part of the roof, three potted plants, and three signs on zipties.
