“Elvis is ready for his new home! He is an adorable 7-8 year old poodle mix who still has tons of spunk. He enjoys playing and walking, as well as lap sitting and cuddling. He is a bit shy at first, but warms up to people very quickly. Elvis might like a smaller dog friend, but appears to be afraid of the bigger ones — probably comes from being stuck at the big scary shelter for weeks before we rescued him. He would also do just fine as an only dog.

They provide housing and care for the shelter animals of the City of Newport Beach. Most of dog rescues come pre-screened from the Orange County shelter on their last day or two, but they have also rescued dogs from Riverside and San Bernardino county shelters. Home Free Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is not a breed-specific shelter. Their mission is simple: help dogs in need find their new forever homes.
