Peninsula Residents to Experience Major Road Closures for 2 weeks.

ATTENTION PENINSULA RESIDENTS:
Starting Monday, October 5 to Friday, October 16, northbound Newport Blvd. between 30th Street and 32nd Street (near the old Albertsons) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to facilitate the replacement of water pipelines from the 1920s.

Street closure signs and detour signs have been posted, but to save time, make a left at the fork after McFadden Square, instead of a right.

A minimum of one lane will remain open on Newport Blvd. during non-working hours, but expect serious congestion even then.
