California polls closed at 8pm yesterday, and we began seeing the votes roll in for the primary election.
As of this writing, all polls are accounted for, but mail-in ballots will still be counted for the next several days. Usually, mail-in ballots carry well for conservative candidates, so you may see a difference by as much as an point in some of the more local elections here.
But enough of the statistician speak. Let’s look at the results for our election, both county-wide, and by state. These have all been tabulated as of this morning at 8am, from the OC Registrar and Secretary of State:
