Pet of the Week: Aria

Newport has a lot of great dogs in need of great homes and great owners… And we’ve got the perfect pup for you to rescue who desperately needs a forever home.

From the shelter:  “Aria is nice to everyone and is friendly with other dogs as well.  She loves going on walks, playing and lap sitting.  We think she is housetrained, but it is hard to tell for sure in a kennel environment.

Aria is a sweet little girl who found herself at the Orange County Shelter with a terrible skin infection.  For that, the shelter planned on putting her to sleep.  So we came to her rescue.  She has been on antibiotics for a couple of weeks and her skin is clearing up quite nicely.  She should be totally cleared up in just a little bit more time and then she will be all ready to go home to her new family.  Could that be you?”
