National Trophies, Beiber, and TONIGHT, Toys for Tots & Fireworks!

I don’t normally highlight individual establishments but when things go viral, they host a national event, and when places hold events for one of my favorite charities all in the same week? Well… they earn it.

This weekend kicked off a triple-whammy for the newly-reopened Stagbar, when Bieber came to see the new digs and the photos went viral. Love’m or hate’m, the fact that international stars are being attracted to our local establishments says a lot. Congrats to the Stag for all the exposure it brought to their hard work after reopening just two weeks ago!

But more importantly, a big “thank you” to the Stag. This weekend they hosted the Ronnie Lott IMPACT Trophy event, unveiling a new mural by artist Mike Sullivan directly to the right of the Stag’s entrance. The Lott IMPACT trophy is given each year to the most outstanding defensive student athlete in the country. This year’s award was given to Penn State Defensive End Carl Nassib.

LidoLiveTV was on the scene to film, as well:

Finally, TONIGHT, Stag will be hosting a Toys for Tots event along with co-sponsor Incipio, which will be handing out limited-edition Stag phone cases to protect your phone in all those times that your beverage-holding reduces your ability to save your falling phone. Also in exchange for your unwrapped Christmas gift, Stag will be providing free pizza, as well.

Boat Parade fireworks start at 6:15 from the Newport Pier tonight, to boot!

Pyrotechnics, pizza and phone protection in exchange for presents for the poor. That’s not just a great deal of alliteration– that’s a great deal!

Grab a gift and hit the new Stag for some amazing fireworks, great craft drinks, free grub, a limited edition phone case, and a good deed under your belt! It all starts at 5:30pm tonight. See you there?
