Measure Y: Forums Today and Tomorrow (please attend!)

I will be speaking at one of the two Measure Y forums this week (I am anti-Y).

Today will be a debate called “Y or Y Not” with a reception at 5:30pm in the Newport Beach Civic Center Community Room, 100 Civic Center Drive.  It will start at 6pm and last about an hour.
Yes on Y will be represented by former Mayor Don Webb and Planning Commissioner Larry Tucker.
NO on Y will be represented by Former Councilwoman Jean Watt and SPON treasurer Dennis Baker.

Tomorrow, there will be the only Measure Y forum that accepts public questions, which will begin at 6pm and end at 7:30pm.
Yes on Y will be represented by Transit Professional and Councilman Tony Petros
NO on Y will be represented by free market and taxpayer advocate Mike Glenn

If you have not yet read about Measure Y, there are a lot of opinion pieces on it.  My piece was recently published, here: www.newportbeachindy.com/ambiguity-measure-y/

Aside from ousting Mayor Rush Hill, Measure Y is the single most important thing on the ballot, and the ballot text is very deceptive.
