Dixon vs Cottie race

Dixon (voting record at www.dumpdixon.com) is a straight up socialist who is registered Republican. I don’t mean that in a “insulting” way, but a literal one. Her advocacy and votes to create government-run businesses to comepte with the free market is the very definition of socialism, and is how we lost the Downtowner.

Further, even as she is more liberal than Cottie, there is a worse scenario if she wins:
1) No Republican will run against her because she is an “R” and county politics virtually prohibit doing so.
2) No Democrat will vote against her because she votes the way they like.
3) Republican money that could have been used to promote good candidates will flow– by default– to her.

If you’re a Republican, please wait another election to vote Cottie out. You wouldn’t replace the mouse trap on your fingers for a bear trap on your arms, just because the best trap called itself (falsely) a Republican, would you?

I am not voting in this race, but if you feel compelled to vote, please vote Cottie.
