The Presidential Debates are Tonight– here’s how to watch or stream

A rare non-Newport topic!

Tonight at 5:30pm, Hillary and Donald will be debating in what many are projecting to be the most-watched presidential debate in TV history.  Despite early reports by virtually all media outlets, Gennifer Flowers will not be in attendance.

The two candidates enter the debate in a statistical tie, as the most recent ABC News/Washington Post poll shows:
(D) Hillary Clinton: 46%
(R) Donald Trump: 44%
(L) Gary Johnson: 5%
(G) Jill Stein: 1%
The gap between Clinton and Trump is well within the polls 4.5% margin of error.

If you’ve cut the cord and no longer have TV, you can actually stream this one live at a variety of sites, but http://debates.twitter.com seems to be the site most well-prepared at the time of this publishing.

For their parts, Gary Johnson and Bill Weld will be live-tweeting responses to the questions and retorts to the candidates, at https://twitter.com/GovGaryJohnson and https://twitter.com/govbillweld

Jill Stein also plans to be going live via Periscope to answer questions herself as they are asked in the debate.  She can be watched, here: https://www.periscope.tv/DrJillStein

The only thing we can be certain to expect from these candidates is the unexpected.  It should be lively.
