I’m Officially on the Ballot for Newport Beach!

This morning, I received a call from the City Clerk to inform me that the OC Registrar of Voters had confirmed my proposal signatures and that I am officially on the ballot for Newport Beach City Council in November.  It has been a lot of hard work fighting back the crazy policies over the last several years– everything from attempts to strip property rights to shut down small businesses to taxation and even land-grabs, while it may not be the most hip of topics, the city council directly affects our lives far more than any other office.

I need to raise another $4k by the end of this month in order to pay off the advertising commitments I have already locked in to secure my lead and lock out my opponents.   If you appreciate what I have been doing for Newport over the last many years, please consider donating to my campaign, here: http://savenewport.com/donate

Thank you all for your support.  More info coming soon.

Also, there is a city council debate tomorrow at Orange Coast College’s Robert B. Moore Theatre, at Arlington Dr, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.  The meet and greet will begin at 6pm and the forum will begin at 7:15pm.  If all goes well, I should have signs there, then, too– so come by and pick up a sign and say hi! 🙂
