Voting Day AND St Patties Day!

Happy St Patties Day, and happy voting day, too!

Today is the vote for our California State Senator who will service in the California Senate.  We have three options on the ballot, and one write-in possibility, listed in alphabetical order:

John Moorlach, accountant, famous for calling out OC as a bankrupt county when nobody believed him.  Then we filed for bankruptcy.  Then he fixed it.  You can’t get more about the raw numbers than Moorlach.  Moorlach has a history of fighting unions.  Moorlach is against illegal immigration.

Naz Namazi: She is the campaign aide to Congressman Rohrabacher who supports small government and is fighting against the status quo as well as what she calls the “political industrial complex”.

Don Wagner, attorney: So far, his campaign has sent out not just misleading mailers, but flat-out lies about Moorlach.  I don’t know if I am going to be voting for Namazi or Moorlach, but I definitely won’t be voting for this guy.  He’s also had his fundraisers headlined by Diane Dixon, if that tells you anything.  Wagner has a history of taking money from unions.  Wagner supports “comprehensive immigration reform”.

Louise Stewardson: The only Democrat in this race, Stewardson is giving voters an option for a Democratic point of view, running as a write-in candidate.

Because this is a special election, your polling place has likely changed.
Please look your location by putting in your address, here:

NOTE: When using this, you will need to trim your street name down.  If you live on “123 W Main Ave”, you will need to type in “123” and “Main” into the boxes.

St Patrick’s Day

Now, after you’ve got your voting taken care of, go out and enjoy one of our fine Irish establishments like Malarky’s, Muldoons, or the “truest” of Irish, and owned by our friends hailing from the Emerald Isle itself, The Shamrock.

Drive safe today, even if you’re not drinking yourself, as there will likely be people driving who are.
