10 foot waves on Friday?

It’s looking like we’ll be seeing 10 foot waves on Friday. At the Wedge, you know what that means!
The waves will be picking up the earliest at 6am– which will suffer from major light problems during the months of our lazy sun– but in that three hour window, we appear set to see swells marked between 6-10 feet.

It’s also set to be a little bit windy, at 11mph.  What will this mean for wave quality?  Well, at this point, it all depends on what Mother Nature does in the meantime.  We’ve got our fingers crossed, but we’ve been tricked just days before the last hurricane waves were supposed to hit!  Time will tell, but in the meantime, I’m planning on waking up early on Friday.  What about you?
