BREAKING: Harbor Polluting Causes Upset

Locals have voiced concerns about a project in the bay that is 6 months behind schedule and dumping debris into the harbor.  In addition, this company has filled the channel so much debris that in some parts, people on boats get stranded in the center of the canal.  Othertimes, you can nearly walk across in low-tide.

The Daily Pilot did a story on some of it, but missed some of the nuances captured in the exclusive photos and video, below.  Take a look for yourself, and see what you think:

All this dumping has both narrowed the canal and caused it to be far more shallow than normal– like this photo of the construction barge which is now beached during low tide:
